Patrick is a professor and discipline of Periodontology at the University of Zurich on sabbatical. He has dual training in Periodontology and Preventative and Restorative Dentistry and has decided to pursue his research interest in cell biology at the University of Bern. His is currently investigating pulp regeneration using a variety of novel biomaterials fabricated with trace elements.
