Masako is a maxillofacial surgeon and assistant professor at Tokushima University, Japan. She was awarded a 2-year fellowship from Japan to study at the University of Bern where her primary focus is directed to research activities. She currently investigates a wide range of growth factors capable of bone or periodontal regeneration in combination with either bone grafting materials or collagen membranes.
